 ALUMNI   GeNienne Samuels ’99-’06 GeNienne Samuels was a Washington Redskins Cheerleader (WRC) from 1999 to 2006. She was a Captain, Pro Bowl Cheerleader, two-time WRC Calendar swimsuit Cover Model, and performed in several USO, DOD, and AFE overseas tours entertaining our troops. The WRC Director’s Choice Award, Outstanding Leadership & Choreography Award, Choreography Award, and the WRC Lifetime Achievement Award were awarded to her during her tenure with the WRC. After the Redskins Cheerleaders, GeNienne that went on to dance for three years in the NBA as a Washington Wizards Girl. In 2009 GeNienne retired from professional cheerleading to be the In-Arena Host for the Washington Wizards until 2018. GeNienne co-founded Sideline Prep with one of her WRC teammates, Sooin VonEsch. She is now the CEO/Presi- dent of Sideline Prep, which helps aspiring professional cheerleaders become prepared, polished and confident for pro- fessional and semi-professional dance/cheer auditions. GeNienne is a Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and process improvement consultant and holds the distinguished credential of being a Project Management Professional (PMP.) She is the owner of GS Consulting & Communication, Inc., which services the State of Maryland, the Federal Government, and small businesses and nonprofits in the DC Metropolitan area. If that isn’t enough to keep her busy, GeNienne also is an Anchor and Reporter for a local news station in Prince George's County and the In-Arena Host for the American Football League's Baltimore Brigade. She is the proud Aunt to 3 nieces, two nephews and the honored Godmother to six godchildren. GeNienne is currently an active member of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders Alumni Associa- tion where she serve's as the 2000’s Decade Co-Lead.       Dr. Kimberly Vaughn ’98, ’00-’06 Dr. Kimberly Vaughn is an 8-year veteran of the Washington Redskins Cheerleader where she began her cheerleading career in 1998 as a Redskinette. She served as a Captain on the squad for 4 years and was a member of the elite Variety Show team traveling on 12 tours to 35 countries entertaining military troops abroad. In 2007 Kimberly attended the Pro Bowl representing the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. Kimberly is an accomplished Director and Program Manager for an IT Consulting Firm in Virginia Beach. She holds a PhD in Human Capital Management, a Master of Science in Organizational Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems. Kimberly is a Gold Star Wife to fallen Navy SEAL, KIA and an advocate for other Gold Star families. Her greatest happiness is being a mother to her 9-year old son, Reagan, and 8-year old daughter, Chamberlyn. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Washington Redskins Cheerleader Alumni Association as Vice President previously serving as a Decades Lead for the 2000 Decade and Board Secretary for 12 years.
